Even in my earlier surreal dreamscapes I often added some form of still life at the bottom to ground the illusion. I always enjoyed paintings them. A friend advised me to focus on still life’s, and to find a way to make them special on their own right. So I approached it in a way that would make collecting fun, effective,affordable, and easy to coexist with other works of art.
